Indonesian consumer goods giant Sido Muncul has announced a corporate social responsibility initiative to fund free cataract surgeries for 100 patients in Gorontalo. The programme, conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Ophthalmological Association (PERDAMI), aims to address medical backlogs that fall outside the coverage of national health insurance.
