Satria Inspects Classroom Construction at Several Schools in Klungkung
The Regent of Klungkung, I Made Satria, has inspected the rehabilitation and new classroom construction projects at several schools. The results indicate that the progress of learning facility improvements is satisfactory, with an average positive deviation exceeding the planned targets.
“Today, I personally monitored the physical implementation at three schools, and the results are in line with, and even exceed, the targets. We appreciate the smoothness and speed of the work on our school projects,” said Satria during his visit on Monday (5/10/2026).
“However, in addition to speed, I also emphasise the importance of building quality to ensure that the facilities provided are truly safe, comfortable, and long-lasting to support our children’s teaching and learning activities,” Satria added.
A primary highlight of the inspection was the completion of physical work at SDN Dawan Kaler. The new classroom construction project at this school has been fully completed, with a realisation of 100%, surpassing the initial target of 69.06%.
In addition to SDN Dawan Kaler, positive progress was also recorded at several other schools undergoing classroom rehabilitation. This includes the rehabilitation of classrooms at SDN 1 Gunaksa, which reached 75.72% against a target of 78.86%, and SDN 3 Pikat, with a realisation of 26.79% against a target of 21.99%.
Satria emphasised that the Klungkung Regency Government is committed to continuing to oversee the remaining construction period of these projects until they are fully completed, for the advancement of education in the Bumi Serombotan region.
The Head of the Klungkung Education, Youth, and Sports Office (Disdikpora), I Ketut Sujana, stated that dozens of schools are receiving rehabilitation. These dozens of schools span various levels, from kindergarten (TK) to primary (SD) and junior high school (SMP).
“All of them are located across four districts. The funding is sourced from the 2026 Regional Budget (APBD),” explained Sujana.
The amount of repair budget allocated by the Klungkung Regency Government this year varies according to the specific repair needs. The value ranges from approximately Rp 400 million to Rp 1.5 billion per school, adjusted directly to the requirements on the ground.
