It monitors for news articles constantly from dozens of Indonesian and international sources. The news aggregation pipeline collates, translates, and classifies articles every two hours.
The site is maintained by Okusi Associates and is intended for non-commercial research use only.
How Articles Are Processed
New articles pass through a three-stage automated pipeline:
Ingestion
RSS feeds from Indonesian and international news sources are scraped automatically on a recurring schedule.
Extraction
Full article text is extracted and cleaned from source pages, removing ads, navigation, and other non-content elements.
Translation & Classification
Indonesian-language articles are translated to English using AI. All articles are classified by topic and checked for duplicates before publication.

Content on jawawa.id is provided for research and educational purposes only. Commercial use is not permitted.
