Only one Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) kitchen for the underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is currently operational. The kitchen is located in Riwo Village, Woja District.

Meanwhile, three other MBG kitchens in Mumbu Village, Serakapi Village, and Saneo Village, all within the Woja District, have yet to begin operations despite construction being completed.

“Only one has started operating, alongside the simultaneous rollout across Indonesia,” said Putri Rizkika, the Regional Coordinator of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Dompu, to detikBali on Tuesday (6/10/2026).

Putri explained that the three other kitchens cannot operate due to delays in obtaining the Decree (SK) from the Head of the SPPG. Additionally, the appraisal process by the State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) has not yet been fully completed.

“Saneo and Serakapi Villages have undergone appraisal but are still awaiting the SPPG Head’s Decree. Mumbu Village has neither been appraised nor received the SPPG Head’s Decree,” Putri clarified.

According to Putri, the appraisal process and the issuance of the SPPG Head’s Decree follow the schedule set by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). Consequently, there is currently no certainty as to when the three kitchens will commence operations.

“There has been no submission from the central government, not because the requirements were not met. The submission for appraisals follows a specific schedule, and so far, following the change in leadership and ongoing governance improvements, there has been no further information,” she added.

Previously, four 3T regional SPPGs in Dompu Regency were not yet operational, even though the kitchens were completed two months ago.

These four 3T regional SPPG kitchens are spread across Riwo, Mumbu, Serakami, and Saneo Villages in the Woja District. All these kitchens had previously been inaugurated by the Dompu Regency Government.

“Not all are operational yet. The obstacle is that we are still awaiting further instructions, as the system is currently undergoing maintenance,” said Putri Rizkika, the Coordinator of SPPI Dompu, when confirmed by detikBali on Friday (19/6/2026).

Putri explained that the SPPI Dompu had initially completed the data collection for the number of beneficiaries for the 3T kitchens. However, they were requested to re-collect and re-enter the data into the system following the change in leadership at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
