Money politics must be eliminated From Republika Money politics, through bribery or other gifts to buy votes, marks the lead-in to the 2004 general election. With its detrimental effect on democracy, this practice is certainly familiar to crooked politicians with plenty of resources at their disposal. Two more miners' bodies found in gold mine: The bodies of another two dead gold miners were removed on Friday afternoon from inside state mining company PT Aneka Tambang (Antam)'s Mount Pongkor gold mine in Bogor regency, upping the confirmed death toll to six. An unknown number of miners are still trapped inside the mine. The police have estimated the number at 200, while Antam says about 90 miners are involved.
