Nadia Comaneci cancels visit to RI

JAMBI: Romanian-born gymnast, Nadia Comaneci, has canceled her planned visit to Indonesia's Jambi province to give a coaching clinic, due to the tight schedule of the American gymnasts she is training.

"Although she could not make it to Jambi, Comaneci will still visit Indonesia to hold a coaching clinic for Indonesian trainers," head of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association, Asnawi Nasution, said on Friday.

Comaneci, the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 at the Olympic Games, was supposed to give a coaching clinic here during the national gymnastic games on March 8 to March 15. -- Antara
