'Bajaj', top air polluter

The Jakarta provincial administration is reportedly studying a
project for the procurement of Toyota-Kijang taxis and the
upgrading of the bajaj, by modifying the engines of the three-
wheeled motorized public transportation vehicles from two-stroke
to four-stroke.

I disagree with the bajaj modification plan because in Jakarta
today the bajaj has become the biggest single air polluter.
Besides, bajaj drivers tend to drive carelessly without observing
road etiquette.

Therefore, the best solution would be to send the bajaj to
Jakarta's outskirts or restrict bajaj operation to settlement
areas or neighborhood lanes. While Jakarta's previous plan to
replace bajaj has not been realized, how can it now consider
rejuvenation?
