Two die of diarrhea KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: Two people have died and 58 others are infected in an outbreak of diarrhea in the Asera subdistrict about 100 kms north of here. The local community health center could not accommodate all the patients and some of them had to be treated in nearby houses, Antara reported. One killed in plane crash MEULABOH, Aceh: One man was killed and another went missing when a small plane crashed at the foot of Mt. Leuser yesterday, Antara reported. The Cassa 212 plane, belonging to the Sabang-Merauke Air Charter, crashed in the Rantau Sialang village in South Aceh regency during a flight from Medan to Meulaboh and Siabang. The victim was identified as co-pilot M. Doni, while the missing person was pilot R. Hutapea.

Wing Tai in RI venture SINGAPORE (Reuter): Property group Wing Tai Holdings Ltd. said its unit Wing Tai Land had entered into an agreement with PT Dharma Alumas Sakti (DAS) and Premium Strategy (M) Sdn. Bhd. to set up an Indonesian property development company. Wing Tai said in a statement sent to the Stock Exchange of Singapore on Oct. 2 that its unit would hold 45 percent of the new venture which will have a capital of US$30 million. DAS will hold 30 percent of the firm and Premium 25 percent.

Two die in three-way crash SEMARANG, Central Java: Two people were killed and 20 others injured yesterday morning in a road accident involving a bus, a van and a motorcycle in the Tanjakan Tanah Putih area of Semarang. Police said the Umbul Mulyo bus was traveling at high speed when the driver realized that the brakes were defective. It collided with the van, which had been traveling in the opposite direction, and then hit the motorcycle, before slamming into a nearby goat pen, Antara reported.
