KL supplies gas to Taiwan KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): Malaysia's national oil and gas firm, Petronas, said yesterday it had started a long-term supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Taiwan under a 20-year agreement. The first cargo of LNG for Taipei's Chinese Petroleum Corp. departed from Malaysia's eastern Sarawak state on Friday and was expected to arrive in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, on Wednesday, Petronas said in a statement.

Condemn one, praise other? I have in front of me a copy of The Jakarta Post dated May 17, 1995, page four, my favorite "Your Letters". A letter titled Permadi and Bintang cases written by Mr Suharsono Hadikusumo, which was picked up from Sinar and translated by the Post, drew my attention.
