Jakarta has woman subdistrict chief JAKARTA: Tri Mulyani, who was inaugurated on Wednesday as chief of the Gondangdia subdistrict, is the only woman to hold this position in Central Jakarta at present. Mulyani, 46, who was formerly the subdistrict secretary, was installed by Mayor Hosea Petra Lumbun to replace Marhayadi. "We have no problem being commanded by a woman. We are proud to have her as our chief," one of her staff, Hambali, told The Jakarta Post on Thursday.
