Foreign leader for RI citizens?

Foreign leader for RI citizens?

Metro TV's report broadcast at 7:09 p.m. on Aug. 28 referred
to "Hassan di Tiro, trustee of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM), a
Swedish citizen." A trustee implies the head of state (as in the
period of the Federal Republic of Indonesia/RIS).

The information as a whole is controversial. It seems as if
GAM has became part of Indonesia called RIS. The GAM head of
state in exile is at the same time a Swedish citizen. Since he is
a trustee, do GAM members in Aceh possess Swedish IDs? If this is
true, then Aceh is designed to be part of Sweden.

If this is not the case, the situation should arouse our
concern. While the leader is domiciled in an advanced country and
is prosperous, his followers are fighting their fellow
countrymen. There has been injustice between the leader and his
people for a long time.

Based on my study in Lulea, Sweden, from January to July 1989,
I think the Swedes are gentle people, and the Swedish government
would not allow its citizens to disrupt relations with fellow
members of the United Nations. The Indonesian government should
therefore continue to clarify the controversial issue in Aceh and
the world.
