This blocks traffic coming from Grogol and causes traffic jams, despite the overpass that gives access to Jl. Jend. Sudirman. Ironically, it seems the West Jakarta mayor turns a blind eye to the situation and lets drivers park their cars in front of his office even though there are "No parking" displayed clearly.

Father Sandyawan Referring to Sunarto's letter on Oct. 8, I agree that Father Sandyawan must obey Indonesian law. In fact the priest stated the same in his open letter dated Aug. 17 to various publications. He said he was willing to bear all legal consequences in the context of his responsibility and personal decision to harbor three suspects. Bank Mashill's profit up JAKARTA (JP): Publicly-listed Bank Mashill's pretax profit for the third quarter jumped 48.91 percent to Rp 25.84 billion (US$11 million), up from Rp 17.36 billion for the same period last year. Electricity firm to reduce blackout time JAKARTA (JP): The State Electricity Company, PLN, will reduce Jakarta's average blackout time from six hours to four hours per annum. Blackout time in the township of Tangerang will also decrease.
