Rations of poor quality rice
Rations of poor quality rice
From Pikiran Rakyat
We public school teachers receive our rice rations in white sacks if the rice is imported from Thailand or Myanmar. But whenever rice is in jute sacks we get moldy and less-mellow rice from the State Logistics Agency.
This month the rice came in white sacks, and we hoped it would be good rice. But to our great disappointment the rice was hardly digestible.
Bad rice packaged in attractive sacks is opposite to the national car being produced abroad under a national label.
Apparently the rice logistics agency needs to learn a lot about making rice sacks in order to avoid notoriety for the low quality of its rice.
