Illegal parking

Illegal parking

From Media Indonesia

Dozens of cars are always parked in a disorderly manner on Jl.
Jend. S. Parman, in front of the West Jakarta mayor's office.
This blocks traffic coming from Grogol and causes traffic jams,
despite the overpass that gives access to Jl. Jend. Sudirman.

Ironically, it seems the West Jakarta mayor turns a blind eye
to the situation and lets drivers park their cars in front of his
office even though there are "No parking" displayed clearly. This
is clearly contrary to the national discipline movement.

What is funny is that, realizing that parking there is
prohibited, the West Jakarta authority then removed some of the
"No parking" signs, thus leaving the congestion unresolved.
