RI to invest in Myanmar

JAKARTA (JP): State-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina yesterday
announced plans to invest in Myanmar in a bid to secure
Indonesia's oil supply.

A company statement said Pertamina president Faisal Abda'oe
and Myanmar's Director General of Energy Planning Department U
Soe Myint, signed a memorandum of understanding in Myanmar
earlier this week. (rid)
