The broad-based Composite Index closed 1.53 points higher at 517.85 yesterday, as compared to 516.32 on Wednesday, while the narrower-based GTDBS-50 Index rose to 123.18 from 122.96. Indosat shares yesterday again dominated trading. A total of 4.24 million Indosat shares changed hands, with their prices rising Rp 175 to close at Rp 8,625.

Ancient Thai massage I discovered a clinic, through an ad in this newspaper, that claims to cure illness through ancient Thai massage. After I talked to the owner in English (he has a Singaporean accent and a Thai sounding name) I felt confident and went to visit his clinic. At the clinic he gave me an article that was published in this paper in April. His Javanese wife, who happened to be his first patient, helps him manage the clinic. I was really impressed by this noble enterprise.
