Singapore Tops Foreign Investment in Indonesia During January-September 2017
The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) recorded Singapore as the largest foreign investor in Indonesia during the January-September 2017 period. Total investment realisation during the period reached Rp 513.2 trillion, comprising Rp 318.5 trillion in foreign direct investment (PMA) and Rp 194.7 trillion in domestic investment (PMDN).

Electric Vehicle Battery Ecosystem Project Could Cut Fuel Imports by 300,000 Kilolitres Annually
KARAWANG — The electric vehicle battery ecosystem development project undertaken by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), CATL, and Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC) has the potential to reduce fuel oil imports by 300,000 kilolitres per year. This was conveyed by Minister of Investment and Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia when reporting the project’s progress to President Prabowo Subianto in the Artha Industrial Hills area, Karawang, West Java, on Sunday, 29 July.
