Ministry of Investment Seeks Stronger Collaboration with Regional Governments

Todotua stated that the forum was one he had personally looked forward to, as it provided an opportunity for direct, face-to-face engagement. “Our ministry is one that will interact extensively with the functions of provincial and district/city officials,” he said.

Todotua expressed his hope for strong collaboration between the central government and regional administrations in handling investment matters. The Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industries/BKPM also opened opportunities for regional governments wishing to consult on investment issues.

“All permits are managed through a single OSS platform, and we hold the controls. This is the moment, because we also want coordination between central and regional government to move quickly,” he affirmed.
