Man jailed for rape of maid SINGAPORE (AP): The High Court sentenced a Singaporean man to 15 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane for raping and harassing his maid, a news report said Saturday. Loo Cheng Lip, a married man with two young children, terrorized the 26 year-old Indonesian maid over a period of four months, the Straits Times reported. The report could not be confirmed with the High Court because its offices were closed Saturday.
