Three killed in landslide DENPASAR, Bali: Three construction workers were killed on Sunday when a landslide hit the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue megaproject in Ungasan valley in Jimbaran, 15 kilometers south of here. The three, identified as Merta, 60, Diding, 32 and Idi, 38, were working in the garden area when a wall of mud and a gate near a huge mango tree suddenly collapsed. Two other workers reportedly survived the incident, which occurred at about 3 p.m. local time.
