Entrance fee increases I am writing about the new regulation passed on Sept. 11, 2000 concerning a 200 percent rise in entrance fees to Torajan tourist attractions and the addition of charges for tourists bringing cameras or videos to the site. This regulation is known as Perda Kabupaten Tana Toraja Nomor 11 Tahun 2000 and is due to come into force on Jan. 1, 2001. I have many problems with this regulation and how it was formulated.

Cirata dam water level drops BANDUNG: The water level at the Cirata dam in West Java, has dropped by 20 meters within the last two weeks, due to the increasing sedimentation at the deltas of the rivers supplying water to the dam. Rain may delay bus arrivals at terminals JAKARTA (JP): An official warned holiday travelers on Monday of possible congestion at intercity bus terminals during the peak days of the upcoming Christmas and Idul Fitri holidays. Nurachman, chief of the East Jakarta Land Transportation Agency (DLLAJR), said congestion at the bus terminals would occur as many buses would arrive late at the terminals due to the rainy season.
