Parcel is taxed? Recently, a friend of mine in Perth, Australia, decided to send a parcel to me which included some personal items such as skin care products and a pair of jeans. He went to his local post office and was told that he could send the parcel "door to door" and that it would take three days. This was a more expensive way of sending the parcel but at least he would be assured of fast and secure delivery. Unfortunately, they don't know about Pos Indonesia.

This worked well until I found that they had made a mistake in withdrawing money from my U.S. dollar account with a signature that I had canceled three weeks before the transaction was carried out. The President said such imbalanced reports, in both the print and electronic media, could hinder government efforts to restore the country's economy as they had tarnished Indonesia's image abroad.

KL tears down Spratly buildings MANILA (AP): Malaysia has dismantled structures its navy erected on a shoal claimed by the Philippines in the South China Sea's disputed Spratly Islands, the Department of Foreign Affairs said yesterday. The structures were removed from the shoal earlier this month after Philippine Foreign Secretary Domingo Siazon and Malaysian Foreign Minister Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi discussed the matter, a department statement said.
