Five people injured in toll road collisions JAKARTA (JP): Seven collisions involving at least 14 cars occurred on Jagorawi toll road yesterday, injuring four men and a woman. Muhamad Abri, an officer of the state-owned toll road operator PT Jasa Marga, said all seven collisions happened between kilometer 17 and kilometer 23 of the toll road at about 3 p.m. "The rain and darkness probably caused the collisions. Internet connection I live in Central Jakarta (telephone number 6406607). Like many Jakarta inhabitants (the ones with enough money to do it) I am Internet fanatic. But... Connecting to Meganet here, through Telkom Indonesia, results in a maximum of 10 minutes before the connection is disconnected and reads "disconnected from the computer you are contacting". Meganet have yet to seriously address the problem, although they have tried to.

Panin Sekuritas to launch two mutual funds JAKARTA (JP): Panin Sekuritas will launch two open-end mutual funds -- Panin Dana Optima and Panin Dana Maksima -- on April 15. Panin Sekuritas' president, Made Rugeh Ramia, said yesterday Optima would offer about one billion trust units and aimed to collect Rp 1 trillion (US$420.16 million).
