Land and building tax doubled
Land and building tax doubled From Republika I was surprised at my father-in-law Bapak Abdul Razak's Land and Building tax (PBB) for 2001. In the bill his land area with Taxed Object Number (NOP) 31.72.030.001.003-0203.0 has been almost doubled to 220 square meters from 118 square meters in 2000. This is strange as our house has not been renovated. Besides, no new land measurements were taken by tax officials.

It was an impolite, pompous and arrogant act. Where is the politeness, modesty, hospitality and warmness of this nation that we are all proud of? When shaking hands, it is only polite to look at the other person's face and say "How are you" with a smile.
