Having been a customer of Bank Central Asia (BCA) since 1990 (account number: 021 1249829 at the Masjid Lama, Palembang, branch), I had a disappointing experience with its ATM on Jl. Kapten Rivai, Palembang, South Sumatra, on May 23, as my cash withdrawal of Rp 500,000 was rejected, but surprisingly the amount was deducted from my account.

When I filed a complaint with the above BCA branch, I was asked to wait for two weeks for a reply and finally on June 11, I received a letter from Halo BCA, signed by Nunik Yuniarti, stating that the "transaction was successful" and the ATM had released the said amount.

Until now I am still in the dark regarding the whereabouts of my Rp 500,000.
