Mulialand to acquire firm JAKARTA (JP): PT Mulialand, a publicly-listed property developer, said yesterday that it will acquire PT Muliacemerlang Dianpersada, the operator of the GKBI building, at a cost of Rp 141 billion (US$60.3 million). A Mulialand director, Tjahja Sathiadi, said in a statement that the acquisition will be financed by issuing rights shares. He said his company will issue three new shares at Rp 1,250 per share for every 10 old shares.

In this case, a tau-tau of Ne'Bine, a woman who died in 1989 at the age of 80, and was given a rapasan (a funeral ceremony of the highest level) in 1991. A rapasan is based on the traditional Torajan religion of Aluk To Dolo.

Indosat's general manager for corporate development, Wahyu Wijayadi, said yesterday that the 5 percent stake, worth 165 million yen (US$1.5 million), has yet to be approved by Suginami's current shareholders.
