Forty kiosks catch fire

JAKARTA (JP): Forty kiosks at a market in Kalideres, West
Jakarta, were destroyed in a fire which ended early yesterday
morning.

No fatalities were reported in the fire at the Hipli market in
the Semanan subdistrict. The fire, believed to have been caused
by a short circuit, affected around 600 square meters of the
market area.

At 1 a.m. 10 fire brigades managed to put out the fire which
started at 11 p.m. (anr)
