WFP donation

Referring to the article on WFP to close down its Indonesian office (The Jakarta Post, April 24, 1996, page 2), a correction should be made as follows:

"From 1963 to 1994 the Government of Indonesia, as a member of WFP, donated about 2,000 tons of foodstuffs to the program valued at US$2.3 million."

It was not WFP which donated the food aid but the Government of Indonesia which contributed to the program on a twice-yearly basis.
