Ferry accident kills six PEKANBARU, Riau: Six people were killed and eight others were missing after a ferry en route from Sungai Guntung in Indragiri Hilir regency to Tanjung Pinang sunk on Sunday in Durai waters. A total of 128 passengers from the boat are safe. Officials at the Sungai Guntung confirmed the accident occurred and explained that the victims were being treated in Durai, while search and rescue officers were still searching for the missing passengers.

Judge Samurti in her verdict said Subiyanto bought a bogus diploma certifying him as a graduate of the school of law at the Jakarta-based Jayabaya University in 1989 and then served as a lawyer. The diploma was bought from a man named Nur Slamet for Rp 1 million.
