Drought worsens in Subang

SUBANG, West Java: The dry spell affecting this area has
forced many farmers to change their profession because their
crops have died.

Antara reported that around 3,022 hectares of rice fields in
Subang are affected by the drought.

In order to make ends meet, many of the farmers have ended up
working as construction workers. (par)
