Six die in measles outbreak KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Six people died and 400 others fell ill when a measles outbreak swept through Waijewa Bara subdistrict. Chief of the provincial office of health, Agus Berek, said the epidemic, first reported in May, has stricken mostly children under 14 who had not been immunized. A broker at JSX said that the Composite Index was revised with the listing of 4.5 million common shares of Petrosea.

Shoe factory catches fire SERANG, West Java: Shoe factory PT Nikomas Gemilang, which employs about 8,000 workers, caught fire on Sunday, leaving one employee wounded and causing untold damage. Witnesses said the fire started in the factory canteen in the early hours following an explosion of a kerosene tank. The fire spread rapidly, burning furniture in the kitchen, Antara reported. The injured employee was rushed to the hospital with a serious burn injury.

The production site, in the West Linapacan field off the coast of the western island of Palawan, dropped production from 15,000 bpd to 3,500 bpd last year due to water intrusion.
