On June 4, 1994, at about 7 p.m. I took a President Taxi from
Melawai Plaza, Kebayoran Baru to Pondok Karya, Jl. Mampang
Prapatan, South Jakarta. But I did not look at the taxi plate
number.

Taking Jl. Tirtayasa, where the street lighting is minimal,
the driver suddenly stopped his car to shut the trunk. Upon
returning to the wheel he reclined the seat and unexpectedly
pointed a knife at my stomach. He forced me to surrender my
handbag and jewelry to him. I was left there as the taxi sped
away.

I reported the matter to the authorities but regret that I had
not been able to identify the police registration number.
