Six die in measles outbreak
KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Six people died and 400 others fell ill when a measles outbreak swept through Waijewa Bara subdistrict.
Chief of the provincial office of health, Agus Berek, said the epidemic, first reported in May, has stricken mostly children under 14 who had not been immunized.
The health authorities have managed to localize the epidemic thanks to coordination between officials and health centers, Antara reported. (pan)
