Man killed for requesting funds PEKANBARU, Riau: A farmer has stabbed an activist to death as he was upset by the way the victim asked him for funds for an organization. Bambang Wijaya, an oil palm farmer, admitted to attacking P. Purba, 20, an executive of the Riau Forum for United Indonesia (Foribet), in Libo Jaya village, Bengkalis regency, Riau, on Wednesday because the victim forced him to provide funds for the organization, Antara reported Friday.

15 villas demolished in Puncak
15 villas demolished in Puncak BOGOR (JP): At least 15 villas in Kopo village in the mountain resort of Puncak were demolished on Friday as they had been built in violation of their building permits. Bogor Regional Inspectorate Office chief Deddy Hediana said the demolished villas were among 34 facing demolition for having being illegally built on 250-hectare site belonging to a foundation set up by former manpower minister Abdul Latief.
