Oh, my Samsung washing machine
I bought a Samsung WS-7000 washing machine from Carrefour in November last year. The first time I tried to use the machine, the drain and spin functions wouldn't work. I called the Samsung Service Center and the next day they promptly fixed the problem. I was satisfied with Samsung's service then.
But then about a month later the same problem occurred again -- drain and spin, and I had to call in the service center to get them to fix it again. The technicians came, fixed it and left without telling me what was really wrong with the machine.
To my dismay, the washing machine broke down with the same problem again a couple of weeks ago. And again I called in the service center.
And now, for the fourth time, the Samsung WS-7000 broke down. What's wrong? Well, the drain and spin functions.
Considering that I only used the machine once a week at the most, I seriously think that I bought a factory-defective machine.
Which raises the question of whether Samsung tests its products first before putting them on the market. Doesn't it have quality control?
I've tried to exchange the machine for a new one, but the people at the service center wouldn't hear of it. Instead the lady who took my complaint said that the technicians will be free of charge. Well of course, since the product is still under warranty. I shudder to think what will happen when the warranty expires.
I really don't know what to do with the machine. Should I have to test the drain and spin functions every time I want to wash something?
Samsung Digit-all? Defect-all is more like it.
