Napocor president Guido Delgado said formation of the joint venture company was one of the options being studied by Napocor before concluding a long-term coal supply agreement with the Indonesian firm. The joint venture may be incorporated in Manila or in Jakarta, he said.

Traders said most nearby TSR20, RSS1 and RSS3 were marked down by two and three cents this morning from their last settlements. Dealings were light. By 04:45 GMT, Oct-RSS3 was indicated at 134 U.s. cents a kg against 137-138 cents on Friday.

The company's commerce director, Zen Smith, said that to provide better services, his company, which uses the advanced mobile phone service (AMPS) system, has abolished administration fees because it needs valid data on its subscribers.

The venture is owned 50 percent by Komatsu, 35 percent by PT United Tractors, the Indonesian sales firm for Komatsu products, nine percent by Sumitomo Corp and six percent by Marubeni Corp.

Permadi gets seven months for blasphemy YOGYAKARTA (JP): The Sleman district court sentenced controversial soothsayer Permadi Satrio Wiwoho to seven months jail yesterday after convicting him of blasphemy for describing Prophet Muhammad as a "dictator" during a seminar here last year. The council of judges said in delivering its verdict that Permadi had sown enmity and hatred towards Islam in the comments he made at a seminar at Gadjah Mada University on April 28, 1994.

I would like to point out that the management of some taxi companies are not supportive towards the drivers' efforts to give favorable service to passengers.
