I miss SCTV's 'Perspektif' show From Kompas I deeply miss SCTV's now defunct talk show Perspektif hosted by Wimar Witoelar. I hardly ever failed to watch the program that focused on current problems in our society. Perspektif had the special attraction of being an alternative to the standardized information published by daily newspapers and weekly magazines. Host Witoelar always managed to enliven his talk shows by presenting unique individuals.

Student's body found in river JAKARTA (JP): Police found the body of a man in Sunter River yesterday. According to the autopsy the man, identified as Soeroso Boedisantoso, was hit on the head by a blunt object. Police said that the Soeroso was 20 years old and a student, according to his ID card. Soeroso, who lived at Jl. Taruna Jaya gg. Dalam, Cibubur, Ciracas, East Jakarta, was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black jeans. He was also wearing a pair of black canvas shoes.

Perintis Kemerdekaan, which crosses through North and East Jakarta, during certain times of the day. According to head of the City Land Transportation Agency JP. Steel demand may reach 40 million tons by 2020 CILEGON, West Java (JP): Steel demand in Indonesia is growing by 7.3 percent per annum and by year 2020 is likely to reach over 40 million tons per annum, Minister of Industry Tunky Ariwobowo said yesterday. Tunky noted that the highest demand for steel will remain focused on rolled coil products, either hot rolled coils or cold rolled coils, the demand of which in the year 2020 will likely reach some 25 million tons.
