Traffic change

JAKARTA (JP): Private vehicles will no longer be allowed to
use the left lane on Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan, which crosses
through North and East Jakarta, during certain times of the day.

According to head of the City Land Transportation Agency JP.
Sepang, the left lane of the street will be used mostly for
public transportation to help alleviate traffic congestion.

The try-out will begin today from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. (from east
to west) and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (from west to east) from
Monday until Friday. The lane will also be closed from 7 a.m to 9
a.m. and 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. (bsr)
