BYD Factory Construction in Subang Disrupted by Thuggery from Civil Organisation Elements
JAKARTA. The construction of BYD’s factory in Subang, West Java has reportedly been disrupted by acts of thuggery carried out by elements of civil organisations (ormas). The Ministry of Industry has been in communication with BYD regarding the disturbance. Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza claimed to have received word from BYD that the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer was able to handle the disruption from the ormas elements.
