India's Aptech Signs MoU with Orbit Future Academy to Expand Digital Skills Training Across Indonesian Universities
JAKARTA – At the prestigious Indonesia Economic Forum – Technology Forum, themed "The Innovation Edge: India-Indonesia Collaboration for a Future-Ready Economy", Aptech, a global leader in vocational skills training, signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Orbit Future Academy, a leading Indonesian education and innovation platform.
The signing ceremony took place at the Nusantara Room of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming (BKPM) in Jakarta, marking an important milestone in bilateral cooperation between India and Indonesia.
The forum was attended by senior government officials, policy experts, and business leaders committed to driving strategic innovation and technology partnerships. The event was opened with remarks from Indonesia Economic Forum CEO Sachin Gopalan, followed by a keynote address from Nurul Ichwan, Deputy for Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, as well as panellists discussing strategic collaboration between India and Indonesia.
The MoU was officially signed by Kallol Mukherjee, EVP and International Business Head of Aptech, and Nalin K. Singh, CEO of Orbit Future Academy, witnessed by distinguished guests and prominent industry figures.
The strategic partnership aims to deliver flagship training programmes in Digital Design, Digital Filmmaking, Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Game Design, and Digital Content Creation, to be implemented across more than 200 universities throughout Indonesia.
The programmes are designed in alignment with Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) as well as global standards, incorporating a blended learning approach, the latest educational technology, and a skills-based curriculum.
Orbit Future Academy, founded upon the vision and legacy of Indonesia's third President, Prof. Dr. Ing. B.J. Habibie, has played a key role in expanding skills development initiatives in Indonesia and the ASEAN region. The collaboration between Orbit's local expertise and Aptech's international experience offers transformative educational solutions for Indonesia's younger generation.
