12 killed in Lembang bus crash BANDUNG (JP): A speeding bus crashed into a pine tree at the foot of Tangkuban Perahu volcano in Lembang, West Java, on Sunday, killing 12 of its passengers. Divorce on the rise in Gorontalo MANADO, North Sulawesi: The number of divorce cases in Gorontalo, a regency southwest of here, is rising; 128 couples got divorced last year compared to 106 cases the previous year. Iskandar Paputungan, head of the Gorontalo religious court, said on Saturday that the divorces were mostly filed by the wife. He said 92 cases were filed by the wife compared to the previous year's number of 75.

Priest killed in speedboat attack AMBON, Maluku: A priest was killed and three other people were injured while on their way to Gudang Arang Port from Galala in Ambon when gunmen on two speedboats attacked their fishing ship Anda V on Saturday. Witnesses aboard the ship said Rev. Ridolf Bernard, 50, was shot in his legs and arms. He was rushed to Halong Navy Hospital in Ambon, a kilometer away from the site of the incident, but eventually died from severe bleeding.
