City wants more from Pertamina The Jakarta Post, Jakarta In an effort to increase city revenue, the city council approved on Thursday a bylaw on motor fuel tax that obliges state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina to pay 5 percent tax on fuel sales here. The application of the bylaw will boost transparency in the sale of the fuel. As of now, the city administration has only received about Rp 100 billion per year from fuel tax in Jakarta and did not know the total amount of the tax.

SBI rate unchanged at 13.10% JAKARTA: The weighted average interest rate on one-month SBI promissory notes, as expected, was unchanged yet again, at 13.10 percent, in a weekly auction, the central bank said Wednesday. Bank Indonesia also said it accepted Rp 15 trillion (US$1.6 billion) of bids at the auction, or 79.7 percent of total bids. The weighted average rate for three-month SBI notes was unchanged as well, at 13.12 percent.
