Obituary Yazeed Djamin, one of Indonesia's most noted conductors, died early on Sunday at Cikini Hospital in Jakarta. He was 50. A hospital official said that Yazeed, who was admitted 12 days ago, died at 03:45 a.m. He was buried later in the same day at Karet Public Cemetery in Central Jakarta. Among those attending his funeral were scores of top musicians, including top pianists Iravati Sudiarso, Rudi Laban, Trisutji Kamal, soprano Binu Sukaman and keyboard player Joki Suryoprayogo.
