Jakarta — The government has extended the halal certification registration period for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) until 2026. The Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) is targeting that by 2026 there will be no further negotiations, and all SMEs must be ready to hold certification. Originally, the halal certification registration deadline was set for 17 October 2024, meaning all SMEs were required to have obtained halal certificates before that date.

As part of the verification process, business entities are required to submit a medium-term Business Plan covering the next five years through the Integrated Air Transport Licensing Information System (SIPTAU), which is integrated with the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The business plan document must include plans for aircraft ownership or control, operational areas or flight routes, human resource requirements, as well as financial capacity and other supporting aspects.

JAKARTA - The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has reported that the implementation of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system for issuing Business Identification Numbers (NIB) has been dominated by micro enterprises, with 12.982 million NIBs recorded for this category. BKPM Deputy for Investment Climate Development Riyatno said the OSS system was developed as part of the government’s structural reform to create a healthier, more transparent and efficient business climate.
