KENDARI — The handling of workplace accidents at PT OSS in Morosi District, Konawe Regency, has drawn scrutiny. The Labour Inspection and Occupational Health and Safety (Binwasnaker and K3) Division of the Southeast Sulawesi Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) has deemed the company uncooperative.

Binwasnaker and K3 Division Head Asnia Nidi revealed that PT OSS has repeatedly ignored summonses related to workplace accident incidents. "PT OSS is uncooperative when summoned," she stated firmly on Saturday, 19 July 2025.

Asnia Nidi further explained the difficulties encountered in obtaining information and clarification regarding workplace accidents from the company. The information provided frequently did not correspond to what was being asked.

"For example, when we request data and clarification about workplace accidents, the response is about something else entirely. When we ask about occupational health and safety, the answer is about something else again," Asnia Nidi said.
