JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs has revealed that the property sector plays a strategic role as a driving force for the national economy.

Beijing (ANTARA) - National Economic Council (DEN) Chairperson Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan is upbeat that Chinese investors will continue to have confidence in Indonesia and that their investments will persist in the future. “China has been satisfied with bilateral cooperation over the last decade. They are keen to continue the cooperation, as they have reaped the benefits,” Pandjaitan told ANTARA here on Wednesday (May 21).

The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) has officially announced a change to the schedule for the Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) Phase II 2024 selection process. The announcement of results, originally scheduled for 22–31 May 2025, has been postponed to June 2025.

Illegal accommodation listed on foreign digital platforms is considered a threat to the sustainability of Indonesia’s hotel industry. The Ministry of Tourism has stated that the proliferation of unlicensed lodgings is one of the factors behind declining hotel occupancy rates at popular tourist destinations. Deputy for Industry and Investment at the Ministry of Tourism, Rizki Handayani Mustafa, said the illegal practice is occurring on a massive scale, from Bali to other major cities.

JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who also serves as CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, attended a limited meeting on accelerating downstream development with President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday, 22 May. Rosan explained that Danantara is ready and has obtained permission from President Prabowo Subianto to deploy investment funds for downstream projects.
