Danantara Secures Presidential Approval to Fund Downstream Investment Projects
JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who also serves as CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, attended a limited meeting on accelerating downstream development with President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday, 22 May.
Rosan explained that Danantara is ready and has obtained permission from President Prabowo Subianto to deploy investment funds for downstream projects. One of the projects close to being carried out involves Huayou and CATL, with Indonesian state-owned enterprises positioned as majority shareholders in the upstream sector.
