Land certificate process made easy in C. Jakarta
JAKARTA: Starting Monday, the Central Jakarta chapter of the National Land Agency will run a mobile service called Larasita, acronym for the Public Service for Land Certification, in an bid to wipe out illegal fees often occurred in land certificate procedures. Central Jakarta Mayor Sylviana Murni admitted that it used to be difficult to get a land certificate.

Coal Sales to be Below Standard Price
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal director general Bambang Setiawan has said the government has indicated coal businesses paying royalties to the government to be selling coal below the standard price. This has created concerns that the state’s revenues will decrease. The Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal Directorate’s secretary, Wintoro Soelarno, said there were also businesses selling coal at US$5 per ton, which is way below the standard price.

you could use external supports quite easily; guy wires, stakes, etc. also, hydroponic plants typically grow very shallow and fibrous roots. also, they could be "dwarfed" using hard pruning.

Info minister calls on public to buy Indonesian products
Jakarta, Feb 16 (ANTARA) - Minister of Communications and Information M. Nuh called on the Indonesian public here on Monday to prefer using domestic IT products including computers and laptops. "This is important as a real effort to reduce potential lay-offs," he said. He said there was no other way of reducing lay-offs than increasing consumption and purchase of domestic products including IT products whose market was mostly dominated by imported products.

State enterprises aim to boost real sector to counter slowdown
The Jakarta Post, JAKARTA State owned enterprises (SOEs) have increased capital expenditure up to a total of Rp 146.9 trillion (US$12.49 billion), in order to boost the growth of the real sector which has been slowing down due to the global economic downturn. State minister for state enterprises Sofyan Djalil said on Monday the speeding up of state enterprises investment programs was intended create new jobs and absorb unemployment.

"We can develop red rice or guava in limited areas," said Tangerang mayor Wahidin Halim yesterday. Indonesia Grows at Slowest Pace in 2 Years on Exports
Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia’s economy expanded at the slowest pace in more than two years as the global recession crimped demand and reduced prices of the nation’s palm oil, rubber and electronics exports. Southeast Asia’s biggest economy grew a less-than-estimated 5.2 percent in the fourth quarter from a year earlier after gaining a revised 6.4 percent in the previous three months, the statistics bureau said in Jakarta today.

Batam To Have Internet Center
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: To transform Batam into a digital area, PT Telkom yesterday launched the Telkom Internet Center at Batam International port. This center is the first to be launched out of the 50 Internet points scheduled to be installed in Batam. "Money is not the center of everything, Internet has one too," said PT Telkom General Manager for Riau Archipelago, Mulyanta.
