Jakarta – PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) is launching an aggressive strategy for 2026 that includes the introduction of new products and enhanced services to strengthen the brand’s position in the domestic market.

At the Yamaha Media Breakfast 2026 event in Jakarta on Friday, Senior Marketing Director Sutarya stated that in addition to launching new vehicle models such as the Yamaha TMAX, the company is introducing updates to the Maxi and Classy Yamaha ranges.

The company is also introducing special edition designs marking Yamaha’s 70th anniversary and 25 years of the Maxi Yamaha as part of efforts to strengthen brand identity.

“During this Ramadan period, we are also offering various special programmes to provide the best service whilst getting closer to our consumers,” Sutarya said.

Additionally, he stated that the company is committed to improving the after-sales service experience through its dealer network, authorised workshops, and practical digital services.

The company wants consumers not only to be satisfied with their purchased products but also to experience reliable service support throughout their journeys.

Yamaha has reaffirmed its commitment to motorsport by strengthening Yamaha Racing Indonesia. Sutarya described racing as the company’s DNA, which consistently provides structured development up to international level.

He cited the example of Yamaha-backed rider Aldi Satya Mahendra, who has achieved the World Supersport 300 world championship title.

“We believe that combining product innovation, strengthened services, and racing achievements can reinforce our brand position whilst supporting the growth of Indonesia’s national automotive industry,” he said.
