The Indonesian National Police (Polri) disclosed the latest developments in the case of mutual reporting between a married couple and a restaurant owner in the Kemang area of South Jakarta, Nabilah O’Brien. The case ended in an amicable settlement with all police reports withdrawn.

According to today’s meeting, those present included Mr Z and his wife Ms ES, as well as Ms NA and Mr KDH. The four parties attended and subsequently reached a peace agreement. In the peace agreement, as discussed, each party has withdrawn their respective police reports.

Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the head of the Public Information Bureau of the Indonesian Police’s Public Relations Division, told reporters on Sunday (8 March 2026) that the parties had agreed to remove content related to the theft case from social media.

“Thus, in the mediation records, and subsequently withdrawals, all present here have removed the content from their respective social media in line with the peace agreement,” he said.

The couple and Nabilah were named as suspects in the mutual-report case. He said that the status of suspects has lapsed in the legal process following the mediation.

“Yes, there has been a process signed in relation to the reports; we are delivering justice to both sides,” he added.

“Indeed, the withdrawals themselves provide justice for the parties involved, particularly for both sides.”

It is known that the married couple and the owner of a Kemang restaurant in South Jakarta had filed mutual reports against each other in a case of alleged food theft. The police are handling the case.

The incident occurred on Thursday (19/9) at the restaurant owned by Nabilah O’Brien. The alleged theft was captured on CCTV and the video went viral on social media.

The alleged theft began when the couple Z and E visited the restaurant owned by Nabilah O’Brien. They subsequently ordered 11 meals and three drinks valued at a total of Rp 530,150.
